High school students and teachers from the “Petre Ștefănucă” lyceum in Ialoveni work in “efficient” conditions since 2014. All thanks to energy efficiency measures undertaken by the administration of the educational institution to minimize loss of heat. Over 700 m2 of windows and external doors have been changed to some new type of PVC, and the building was fully insulated. The measures taken have improved the thermal comfort in classes and brought savings of more than 350,000 lei annually in natural gas consumption.
