Centrul de Excelență în Energetică și Electronică

A group of students at the Centre of Excellence in Energy and Electronics in Chișinău have set a quest: to promote the use of renewable energy sources. The students, led by their professor, were actively involved and studied together the ways and stages of development of such a project. They realized the benefits of using renewable energy sources and applied it in practice. Thus, following a joint effort, the team built a vertical axis wind turbine and placed it on the roof of the school. The students did not stop there and assembled some solar panels that were placed on the building. Finally, they studied, designed and built a device for regenerating batteries. The project was appreciated by the 1,270 students and 80 teachers of the educational institution.
