48 dossiers were registered for the “Moldova Eco Energetică” Competition, 2016 edition. The innovative projects for the use and promotion of renewable energy and energy efficiency were submitted by individuals, public institutions, private companies, civil society representatives and media during the active competition period: March 5th to August 5th this year.
For a more thorough, transparent, professional and deliberative examination, the dossiers will be examined by five evaluation panels consisting of independent experts and representatives of state institutions related to renewable energy and energy efficiency, in accordance with category. The submitted dossiers will be reviewed in three stages:
First stage: Office evaluation;
Second stage: Field evaluation;
Third stage: Council evaluation and final decision.
The winners of the “Moldova Eco Energetică 2016” Competition will be known and awarded at the “Moldova Eco Energetică” Gala, which will take place on December 2nd.
The “Moldova Eco Energetică” Competition marks its sixth edition this year. Thus, it is the biggest competition rewarding successful initiatives in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency. The purpose of the competition is to support the best initiatives in the production, transmission, distribution and efficient use of energy from renewable sources and the development and promotion of modern technologies, innovations in renewable energy and energy efficiency.
The competition is organized by the Energy Efficiency Agency, under the Ministry of Economy’s patronage, at the initiative and in partnership with the Energy and Biomass Project in Moldova.
