Whether we talk about natural stone or metal, the material is cut with very high accuracy by the representatives of the company “Colizei Vechi”. A modern watered cutting machine allows any idea to come to life, regardless of the material’s shape and size. Of course, the tools used have a high electricity consumption, which prompted the company management to switch to renewable energy. Thus, in 2014, photovoltaic panels were installed on the workshop’s roof, with a capacity of 100 kW. Electricity savings have become sizable, reducing the intake by about 100,000 kWh. At the moment, the surplus is injected into the network at the rate of 1.90 lei/kW established by ANRE.
